The "Zentralfachschule der Deutschen Süßwarenwirtschaft (ZDS)" ("Central College of the German Confectionery Industry") enjoys worldwide renown, and is the world’s best known education and further training institute for all areas of the confectionery industry. The College provides training both in basic skills as well as current special technical subjects of the confectionery industry. In addition to its numerous nationals seminars and practical training courses, the ZDS every year organises around 40-50 international events conducted in the major world languages. In the modern technical departments, the teaching material is put into practical application without delay. The program offered by the ZDS ranges from the 1-day short seminar to a comprehensive 8-week training course.
