Many sights and leisure facilities are close at hand: one highlight for the whole family is of course a visit to the Wuppertal Zoo, probably the most scenically beautiful zoo in Germany, with around 500 animal species.

Schloss Burg in Solingen or the Eschbachtal reservoir in Remscheid - the first freshwater reservoir in Germany - are also well worth a visit!

And to start off, how about a tour with the "Bergischer Ring"? The historic vehicles of the Bergischer Ring run throughout the whole region serving the many industrial cultural locations and museums.

Something is always going on in the region, like the "Zöppkesmarkt", the "Vohwinkel Flohmarkt" (the world’s largest one-day flea market), the "Bleicherfest", the "Röntgenlauf"... and the many town and district festivals, proving that in the "Bergisch Triangle", people know how to have a good time!
